Overview
Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK), the premier government authority for urban development and planning in Bangladesh, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Assistant Town Planner. This is a prestigious Grade-9 government role with 2 vacancies available nationwide. RAJUK plays a pivotal role in shaping the urban landscape of Bangladesh through strategic planning, infrastructure development, and sustainable growth initiatives.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (Second Class or equivalent) in Urban and Regional Planning from a recognized institution.
Must be a Bangladeshi citizen and permanent resident.
Age limit as per RAJUK recruitment circular rules (effective date: 07 June 2026).
Government, semi-government, or autonomous body employees must apply through the proper authority.
Strong knowledge of urban planning principles, zoning regulations, and land use management.
Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
Familiarity with government policies and RAJUK’s planning framework is preferred.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of urban and regional planning projects under RAJUK’s supervision.
Conduct zoning assessments, land use evaluations, and feasibility studies for development projects.
Prepare detailed planning reports, analyses, and documentation for approval and implementation.
Coordinate with internal departments, external stakeholders, and government agencies to ensure seamless project execution.
Monitor compliance with RAJUK planning regulations, national policies, and environmental standards.
Participate in written tests, oral examinations, and official evaluations as part of the selection and performance review process.
Support the preparation of master plans, development strategies, and policy recommendations for urban growth.
