OVS Hongkong Sourcing Limited is the Bangladesh liaison office of an Italian market leader in apparel retailing with a rapidly expanding presence across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. The company manages sourcing operations with more than 80 leading garment suppliers and is currently recruiting a professional Garment Technician for its liaison office in Uttara, Dhaka. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing garment technical development from prototype through production approval while ensuring buyer specifications, European quality standards, garment construction, pattern grading, fitting, and product quality are consistently maintained. The role requires close collaboration with Technical, QA, Merchandising, Production, overseas technical teams, and factory partners. Candidates should possess strong expertise in CAD, CLO 3D, garment engineering, pattern making, grading, risk assessment, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional teamwork.

• Technical qualification in Textile Technology or Garment Engineering.

• Hands-on experience with ladies' underwear, lingerie, nightwear, and/or swimwear.

• Excellent understanding of European retailer quality and technical standards.

• Proficiency in CAD systems and CLO 3D software.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and overseas stakeholders.

• Ability to manage multiple development projects and meet tight deadlines.
