QA Engineer

As a QA Engineer, you will own end-to-end product quality across API, UI, integration, and data testing. You will participate throughout the software development lifecycle, from design discussions to production support, applying shift-left testing principles and leveraging AI tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage. • Hands-on experience in automated testing covering API, UI, integration, and end-to-end testing.

• Strong coding skills in Python, TypeScript, or similar programming languages.

• Experience with testing frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Pytest, Selenium, or Jest.

• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines including GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.

• Ability to read backend code, analyze logs, and inspect HTTP/WebSocket traffic.

• Strong exploratory testing mindset with a focus on data correctness and integrity.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• Preferred qualifications include performance testing experience using k6, JMeter, or Locust.

• Knowledge of observability tools such as Grafana, Sentry, and OpenTelemetry is preferred.

• Experience in distributed systems testing including queues, retries, and idempotency is advantageous.

• Understanding of security testing fundamentals is preferred.

• Experience with contract testing tools such as Pact is considered an advantage.

• Experience building AI-assisted testing workflows is preferred.
