Overview
Social and Economic Enhancement Programme (SEEP) is a national non-government development organization operating in Bangladesh since 1985. Approved by the Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA), SEEP works to improve the livelihoods of marginalized communities through sustainable poverty alleviation, microfinance services, and socio-economic development initiatives. The organization is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Assistant Branch Manager (Accounts).
The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining branch-level accounting records, monitoring financial transactions, preparing reports, reconciling bank accounts, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to manage branch financial operations efficiently within a microcredit environment.
Maintain accurate accounting records and registers.
Verify loan-related documents and member information.
Manage daily cash transactions and reconciliations.
Prepare financial reports and bank reconciliation statements.
Support branch operations in accordance with organizational policies.
Requirements
Master's degree from a recognized university.
Preference will be given to candidates with a Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
Maximum age 35 years; relaxable up to 40 years for experienced candidates.
Knowledge of branch accounting and financial record management.
Experience in microcredit operations, credit control, and recovery will be advantageous.
Strong reporting, reconciliation, and documentation skills.
