As a Software QA Engineer at Propito, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of software products. Your responsibilities will include manual testing, API testing, bug tracking, and regression testing. You will collaborate closely with developers to maintain product quality and support automation initiatives. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about software quality assurance and emerging technologies, with a strong foundation in analytical thinking and communication. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).

• Proven experience in manual software testing.

• Experience in testing AI/LLM-based software products (preferred).

• Strong knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman or similar.

• Familiarity with defect tracking systems and bug reporting workflows.

• Understanding of Git and CI/CD workflows.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent English communication and documentation skills.

• High level of ownership, accountability, and responsiveness.

• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress (preferred).

• Knowledge of performance and security testing (advantage).

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments (preferred).

• Perform manual testing of web and software applications to ensure product quality.

• Create and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and bug reports.

• Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools.

• Identify, document, and track software defects efficiently.

• Test and evaluate AI/LLM-based features and outputs.

• Collaborate with developers to improve and maintain product quality.

• Support regression testing, release validation, and automation initiatives.
